Operating in 8 regions and 15 countries, the Belgian NGO Vredeseilanden aims to contribute to viable livelihoods for organised family farmers through improved income from sustainable agriculture with a particular focus on value chain development (from production to consumption). Vredeseilanden chose to apply a learning-oriented planning and M&E system and decided to use core elements of Outcome Mapping for the programme design as well as for the monitoring and learning process. There were some frustrations in relation to the use of the logical framework and there was need for a framework/approach that would make more sense - be more useful and relevant for the (re)planning and monitoring of the chain interventions. Steff Deprez will present the organisations use of OM with particular attention to how they overcame these challenges.

(Apologies for the degraded sound quality during Steff's presentation, we had technical difficulties during the live webinar.)
