About Us
Welcome to the Outcome Mapping Learning Community, a global, informal, open membership network for sharing information and facilitating learning on using Outcome Mapping and other aligned methods for planning, monitoring, and evaluating complex interventions.
Here, we are dedicated to providing a platform for individuals and organizations to connect, learn, and share resources to advance their understanding and practice of Outcome Mapping and other aligned methods. Our community is committed to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange to drive positive change in complex intervention initiatives.
We are grounded in the principles and practice of Outcome Mapping but engage in bricolage with other methods such as Outcome Harvesting, Most Significant Change, Contribution Analysis, Process Tracing, participatory tools and systems approaches.
At the Outcome Mapping Learning Community, we believe in the power of individuals to embrace who they are, define their future, and change the world. We are dedicated to empowering our members to make meaningful contributions to their communities and beyond.
Our Mission
We foster an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative community where individuals and organisations can learn and adapt Outcome Mapping, and combine (or bricolage) it with complementary approaches. We champion actor‑centred practices that shift power, strengthen locally led decision‑making, and support meaningful, context‑responsive planning, monitoring, and evaluation.

Our Vision
We envision a world where communities define their priorities and institutions share power, authority, and resources. Change initiatives are always co-designed, monitored, and evaluated with or by those most affected, grounded in diverse knowledge systems, and responsive to complex social and environmental systems.
OMLC Stewards
The OMLC is governed by the Board of Stewards, a group of up to nine members from across the OMLC who act in a voluntary capacity as Stewards. The Community Stewards Group make decisions related to the welfare of the community in collaboration with the Community Coordinator. The Stewards are here to help you with any matters relating to the community or specific OM questions. They are very happy to answer any questions you might have but please remember that they are volunteers.
