Dear All
We have hereby uploaded a book (“Outcome mapping: reflecting and learning from applications in eastern Africa”) published by the International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR). The book contains details of a survey on the understanding and use of the methodology and a review of a few selected application experiences in the region. The cases are from a wide range of sectors including climate change, natural resource management, livestock health, value chain systems, among others. We found this useful since success in outcome mapping, as a program management, monitoring and evaluation tool – with its focus on behavioral change – is greatly influenced by situational cultural, institutional and political contexts.
We are inviting readers to the book and a discussion of its contents in a separate post.
Welcome,
Julius Nyangaga and Edward Ontita
