Natalie Moxham gives a personal ac-count of facilitating a set of workshops with twelve NGOs working on sustainable forest management in Papua New Guinea. Combining techniques from Outcome Mapping with a participatory Theory of Change approach, the paper describes the process of conducting the workshops and the advantages and compromises needed in adapting the two approaches for building collaborative practice.
